Punta Laguna

Punta Laguna Spider Monkey Reserve

Visit the local cooperative Najil Tucha for an unforgettable adventure! They organize wildlife-watching activities, especially for spider and howler monkeys, and offer low-impact fun like hiking and canoeing. For thrill-seekers, try zip-lining over the lagoon and bird-watching for an exhilarating experience!

Temazcal 3 Reyes

Tres Reyes (Three Kings)

This is the largest community in this area, where we participate in Temazcal Ceremonies together with our beloved Octavio Yah to honor our ancestors. We also visit with Grandfather Don Crisanto, who tells us of his experiences and his knowledge of medicinal plants.

Laguna Chabela

Laguna Chabela

With the Cahum Family, you learn about the original way of Mayan living. The family lives off the land, away from public wiring and lighting, and strives to maintain the old lifestyle without the use of plastics and modern amenitites. With them, you can go hiking to visit the lagoon and have the great opportunity to camp in the jungle under the stars!

Cenote Esmeralda

Cenote Esmeralda

A small community made up of 8 families who live around the beautiful Cenote Aktun Zotz (bat cave in Maya T'aan), where the inhabitants benefit directly from the natural resources. You can also get to know their way of life in the community, their farmyard, and backyard. A little paradise!
