Here, we dive below the surface to explore Xibalba - the Mayan Underworld. The cenotes have access to a huge network of underground freshwater rivers and Mother Nature's veins that keep ancient secrets and provide testimony of past cultures and extinct animals. Diving in the cenotes is like entering a magical underwater world! Picture yourself swimming through crystal-clear waters in ancient caverns with stunning rock formations, and sunlight beams dancing above. The water is so clear, it feels like you're floating in air—like being in a real-life fairy tale or movie scene! This thrilling yet serene adventure offers a unique and unforgettable experience you won't find anywhere else!

You'll be picked up between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m., and we’ll do two dives, each in a different cenote or along different lines of the same. The specific cenotes will be chosen based on the diver's experience level (must be certified), and we welcome suggestions if you have a preference. We have over 40 different cenotes in the area to choose from, depending on the diver's skill level.

Requirements:

15 years old and must be accompanied by an adult.
Open Water certification—Certain cenotes require higher certification levels. However, we will pair you with dive sites appropriate for your certification level.
Must be in good physical health and be able to complete the medical questionnaire satisfactorily.
If you are claustrophobic or do not like the overhead environment, this might not be for you.

Each tour should be booked by paying a deposit.
In case of cancellation more than 24 hrs before the pickup, we do not charge you any cost and will give you back your deposit.
If you cancel between 24 and 12 hours before the pickup, México Kan Tours will take your deposit to pay for the costs already incurred.
In case of cancellation less than 12 hrs before the pickup or in case of a "no show," we will charge you 100% of the total amount of your tour.
